I am an independent IT Security Consultant with a strong focus on Cloud Security, especially involving the use of Hardware Security Modules. I am originally from Scotland and am now based in Hamburg. I speak both German and English.

I am currently working on HSMAttest, an architecture for Cloud Environments that protects core secrets even during a total host compromise. Master secrets exist only inside an HSM core which then releases short-term or scope limited keys to Confidential Computing Enclaves only after the workload has attested itself to the HSM against a whitelist. This massively reduces the blast radius of breaches.
